Icelandic Aquatics and Parasport Iceland invite you to the 23rd Reykjavík International Games Swim Meet, January 22nd to 24th 2027. Three days of racing await in Laugardalslaug, a 50m indoor Olympic pool in the heart of Reykjavík, run on 8 of its 10 lanes so every swimmer has room to race.

The meet carries a long international tradition, with swimmers from Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Finland, the Faroe Islands, Germany, Poland, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Italy, India, Qatar, the USA and the UK on the start lists through the years. The meet is approved by World Aquatics and European Aquatics, and internationally experienced referees conduct the technical part of the competition

Kick off your 50m season in Laugardalslaug’s 50m Olympic pool. Our goal is to build a dependable, high-standard long-course meet that fits Icelandic and European schedules and attracts athletes from club to national level. Reykjavík offers excellent facilities, a club-driven training environment, and an easy base for sport and culture during your stay.

EUR 5,000 in total prize money is on the line - plus medals, youth awards and two decades of meet records to chase.

PRIZE MONEY

Medals for open and youth categories - the 3 best male and female swimmers in each event receive medals, as well as the 3 best para swimmers. Open category medals are awarded in the finals sessions; youth and para medals awarded in the prelims sessions.
Special gifts are awarded for the best boys' and girls' performances in the youth category according to the World Aquatics point table.

YOUR STAY, TAKEN CARE OF

Iceland is a big trip. Flights, transfers, hotels and meals for a full team take real planning - so for 2027, we are taking that work off your desk.
The RIG Team Package covers your team from touchdown to takeoff: one booking and a local team looking after you throughout your stay. You focus on racing. We handle the rest.
Make more of the trip: many teams arrive early or stay longer, turning the Games into a mid-winter training camp. Icelandic Aquatics can help you book training times and accommodation.
